RE: A few suggestions
Much as I enjoy Son Henry's performances it's still a bit soon to have him back again. I would love to see Funky Dory here, their album is excellent. Am I right in thinking that The Nimmo Brothers have been here before? I will work through the list tonight and check them out!

RE: A few suggestions
I don't know if the Nimmos have played there or not, I was a bit of a late arrival as far as the Orkney Blues experience goes.
King King are a reasonably new band on the scene and feature Alan Nimmo on lead guitar and vocals. They have taken several festivals by storm this year including Shetland and Maryport where they followed Jethro Tull on stage and still kept the crowd going.
Funkydory are excellent. Jule Fothergill is a great guitarist and his wife Lorna is probably the best female blues vocalist in the country.
If you get yourself on Facebook and make friends with me (Tony Winfield from Nottingham) most of my friends on there are Blues artists including everyone that I've mentioned above, you can make yourself a few useful contacts.

RE: A few suggestions
I second what Tony suggests since it was my list in the first place!

Just asking... would anyone like to become a member of the Nottingham Blues Society? I realise you are miles away from Nottingham but still.... And in the very near future we hope to link up with other blues societies and clubs and of course Orkney will be very well received as Friends of NBS.
