THIS talented young band have picked up quite a following since their debut at last year’s Blues Weekend and they certainly kept up their reputation this time around, attracting one of the biggest crowds of all the bands playing Stromness on Friday night.

Their choice of blues rock numbers kept the blues fans and the bikers in town for the Blues and Poppy Bike Show happy. Covers like their medley of Born Under a Bad Sign, Sunshine Blues of Your Love, White Room and Crossroads, effortlessly melding from one song to another, in went down particularly well with the crowds.

When asked if he’d enjoyed his Blues Weekend, Marcus said: “I’ve loved it; it’s been absolutely superb.”
